It is that time of year again. On Friday, August 18, PUBG Mobile will be transitioning from the current season 2, to season 3. Many people have been asking various questions regarding the season change such as royale pass, rankings, cards etc. I would like to answer as many questions as I can.Pubg Mobile Season 3 Date

Q: What happens in a season change? A: In a season change, many aspects of the game will be reset such as rankings and the royale pass. I will get in-depth about these soon. But at the end of the season, depending on your rank, you will get a season-end reward. Don’t get your hopes too high up though, as last season the season end reward was not that good. Most players usually got something small such as a few thousand BP or some hero’s crates, even in high ranks.
Q: What happens to my royale pass? A: If you have bought the elite royale pass this season, it will expire at the end of the season and you will have to buy the elite royale pass again during season 3. You will not be able to earn any more rewards you have not earned yet this season after season 3 for both royals passes. If you have reached rank 70 on the elite royals pass, then I strongly recommend that you spend your remaining royale points in the shop before the end of the season. You will not be able to transfer those points to the next season. Make sure that you have gotten all rewards that you have earned so far this season in the royale pass as you will not be able to get those rewards after this season. If you have bought the elite pass this season, then in season 3 you will be able to redeem a 500 point card which will increase your rank by 5 ranks automatically.
Q: What will happen to my rank? A: PUBG Mobile has been a bit fuzzy on ranks changing after the end of the season. However, in seasons 1 and 2, your rank was only brought down a little bit after the season change. You should expect your rank to be set back a tier or two after the end of the season unless an announcement is made by Tencent. Leaderboards however will be reset at the end of the season.
Q: Will I be able to keep the rewards I earned? A: Unless specifically said, you will be able to keep all inventory items such as cards, clothing, and skins that you have earned in season 2, whether it was from an event or from the royale pass.
Q: Will any of the gameplay change? A: Unless there is an update that happens on August 18, the start of season 3, you should expect to see no difference in the PUBG Mobile gameplay. As of now, there is no confirmed update that will happen at the start of season 3. The crate rewards might be different but you should see no difference while playing the game if there is no update.
